The artist: "back in 1973 the artwork was an order by a customer, who wanted a 19th century landscape, painted oil on canvas - So I searched and found a photo motif from an old calendar, which I chose for this purpose, changed the setting a little bit, and created a little masterpiece - the customer was very content - now you can, too, own it as a fine art print or canvas print, looking just like the original, and looking great on your wall, as you feel set back to the 19th century...!"
